| Vintage: 2004 Awards: GOLD - Air New Zealand Wine Awards 2005 Tasting Note: The grapes for this fine wine were selected from two vineyards in the warmer inland areas of Hawkes Bay. Long sunny settled weather leading up to harvest allowed picking at ideal physiological ripeness. Following destemming and primary fermentation of the juice, the wine underwent full malolactic fermentation and aging in one and two year old oak barriques for twelve months, with regular lees stirring for enhanced complexity. |
