The vines are planted at the river end of the vineyard taking advantage of cooler temperatures suited to this variety. The fruit was hand-picked at ideal ripeness and fermented in open-top tanks with regular hand plunging to ensure optimum flavour and tannin extraction. Aging followed in French Oak Barriques for nine months with regular lees stirring. This stylish Pinot Noir has substantial body with layers of rich cherry, plum and spice flavours. Matured in French Oak Barriques, it is fragrant and complex, with a smooth, lasting finish. Already delicious, it has the power and structure to reward cellaring. |
