Reserve Pinot Noir 2005
| Vintage: 2005 Tasting Note: The grapes for this wine were hand-picked in two parcels on 30th March and 4th April at an average 24.4 brix. Barrel fermentation followed in 20% new and 80% one year old French barriques, then aged for twelve months with regular lees stirring for enhanced complexity. Bottling took place on 19th June 2006. This stylish Pinot Noir has substantial body with layers of rich cherry, raspberry, and blackberry with smokey oak. It is softly perfumed with spicy undertones, offering excellent weight and length and a dry, smooth, lasting finish. Already delicious, it has the power and structure to reward cellaring. |
