Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2005
| Vintage: 2005 Awards: **** Cuisine Magazine 2006 Tasting Note: Mills Reef Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2005 is made with fruit from the Hawkes Bay region and was picked over two days on 6th and 9th of April in excellent condition. Fifteen percent of this wine was barrel fermented and aged for four months, in French Oak Barriques. This is a ripely herbaceous style Sauvignon Blanc, with tropical fruit, capsicum flavours and subtle French oak adding a nutty complexity. A mouthfilling dry wine with a creamy-smooth finish, it is an ideal food-wine and will mature well. |
